Boutique Palm Beach based law firm seeking an Attorney with business litigation experience. The firm focuses primarily in construction litigation, and also some real estate and corporate transactional work as well as employment law.
They are a small and sophisticated firm, and they consider themselves to be businessmen before attorneys.
Responsibilities:
- Managing the written discovery process,
- Taking and defending depositions, successfully arguing in court, and engaging in trial
- Litigating complex commercial disputes /arbitration
- Work with businesses involved in a variety of disputes, such as those concerning partnerships and shareholders, sales of merchandise, licensing, construction, or real estate.
- Take depositions, interviewing witnesses, reviewing documents, writing briefs, and visiting dispute sites.
Qualifications:
Strong academic credentials and prior experience with all aspects of commercial litigation
- 2-6 years construction or commercial litigation experience
- Florida Bar admission
- Self-starter with strong communication, drafting and research skills required.
