Case Manager
Legal Services of North Florida has two openings for a Case Manager in our Pensacola location. LSNF handles more than 8,900 cases a year and does not charge their clients for their legal services. Be a part of a non-profit law firm, with 125 employees in seven offices across North Florida, that seeks legal justice while understanding the value of work-life balance. Work independently and as part of a seven-member team of legal and nonlegal staff seeking to obtain positive results for juvenile clients with a focus on civil law matters.
Legal Services of North Florida is seeking candidates with the ability to work independently and in team environments. The Case Manager will work closely with legal staff to determine juvenile client needs, make referrals to wrap-around services, and assist with non-legal support to serve clients in crisis and trauma. The candidate must have experience working with individuals in crisis, be able to manage sensitive information and maintain confidentiality, as well as prioritize multiple work assignments and/ or client cases simultaneously. This position will require heavy communication with clients over the phone, in person, and in written formats such as email and text messages.
This person will work with our legal staff, partner organizations, and clients directly to support the delivery of civil legal services. Applicants should be skilled in Microsoft Office and Word, and understand cloud document storage. Candidates must have excellent communication skills, and be comfortable interacting with a variety of individuals. Experience with client case files, case notes, and digital case management is necessary. Candidates should be detail-oriented, self-motivated, and work well within a team. Minimum requirements are either an Associate degree in human services field of study with two years of related experience OR a BS/ MS degree in related human services field.
Entry level salary is $36,000. Salary is negotiable depending on additional experience. Comprehensive fringe benefits package for full-time employees includes:
Full-time is 35 hours a week.- Paid time off includes: holidays, sick leave, and personal leave. Begin earning leave right away and after two years of employment, personal leave increases to four weeks per year
