JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary/Objective

Are you someone who excels in customer engagement, community outreach, and coordinates well with other team members? If so, our Marketing Coordinator may be the right position for you!
The Marketing Coordinator assists with the development and implementation of marketing initiatives that support the company’s vision, goals and strategic plan. This position will work closely with the VP of Marketing and Communications on media relations, community outreach, external communications and new customer campaigns focused on driving measurable results and delivering brand awareness to both current and prospective customers.
Essential Functions

- Manage communication with 3rd party apparel vendors to oversee our internal merchandising for current and future employees.
- Plan, coordinate, create, and order promotional material for all community outreach efforts and branch events as well as for top accounts, top prospects, etc.
- Manage and participate in community outreach events/activities in-person, manage data from events, and work with department to create and execute follow ups.
- Create customer engagement campaigns such as giveaways, giftings, and work with local businesses to provide incentives to our top customers and prospects.
- Manage calendar contests for Legence Bank, American Farm Mortgage and Kotner Title as well as create additional engagements for all three entities.
- Assist with the planning of local, regional, and national events such as trade shows, community events and internal events to promote brand awareness and the company culture of Legence Bank
- Participate in Fundraising and Community Event Assistance programs such coordinating volunteers, ensuring sponsorship requirements are met, and gathering donations for events.
- Create customer testimonials through working with team members, businesses, and individuals to showcase Legence service standards
- Assist with financial literacy programs, creating materials, scheduling events, and teaching.
- Promote, manage, and schedule awards programs for our Scholarship Program.

Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment including, but not limited to, computers, fax machines, scanning equipment.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
Some flexibility in hours is allowed, but the employee must be available during the "core" work hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. Position will be required to potentially flex between multiple locations/events each week in the market territory.
Travel
Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be expected.
Required Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite
- Able to Quickly Learn New Software
- Valid Driver’s License
Preferred Education and Experience
- Associate’s Degree in Marketing or Communications
- 1 Year Business Marketing or Business Communications Experience
- Experience with Customer Outreach or Business Development
