What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marketing Coordinator position at Walker's Bluff Casino Resort?
Responsible for setting up casino promotions, special events, and giveaways to attract and bring excitement to the casino floor. This position will also create and maintain a favorable brand and public image of Walkers Bluff Casino Resort through the use of social and traditional media outlets, and maximize the utilization of these outlets as an effective marketing platform. Work closely with the Entertainment Manager to assist in the execution of all the areas including sound, lighting, and vendors. Essential Functions:
- Provide exceptional customer service to all internal and -Responsible to ensuring all Illinois Gaming Commission laws are being followed.
- Coordinate all promotions and special events with appropriate departments.
- Build player loyalty and promote return visits by maintaining contact with a base of customers via their choice of contact.
- Maintain confidentiality and discretion including but not limited to customer files and habits, company procedures, data or marketing profiles.
- Attend required company training.
- Adhere to Safety guidelines.
- Meeting company attendance requirements.
- Maybe required to work days, nights, holidays, and weekends.
- Adhere with all Illinois Gaming Commission Rules and Regulations and any other local, state, or federal guidelines.
- Assists in the scheduling and execution of email promotions to e-club.
- Research competitor promotions
- Assist with direct mail campaigns and analysis requests
- Serve as a marketing representative of Walkers Bluff Casino Resort at meetings and functions.
- Provide new design ideas to all aspects of advertising that accurately represent Walkers Bluff Casino Resort.
- Work with shared services to proof all mailing and emails
- Supply production lists to BI each month
- Update promotions board and communicate Marketing happenings via email.
- Launch and manage social media presence on sites like Facebook, Linkedin, and Twitter for specified outlets within Walkers Bluff Casino Resort.
- Monitor online discussions by listening to what the users are saying, reading discussion forums, and responding in a timely manner to users and needs.
- Work with Entertainment Manager to maintain weekly Show Lounge acts and headline entertainment schedules.
Required:
- Prior experience working in a marketing or communications position preferred
- Must have excellent writing and editing skills.
- Be able to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in written form.
Schedule:
Full-time; varies based on events and holidays and includes days, nights and weekends.
Salary:
Starts at $19.50/hr (Includes Premium Pay)
