PRIMARY FUNCTION
Business owner of assigned application software for business delivery, functioning and services of the application including releases, updates, research, problem resolution, reporting, testing and communications. Includes new implementations, conversions and first point of contact for these applications. Applications include Fiserv Core application with UFS and auxiliary products including Deposit Operations applications.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for providing application support that includes answering questions and working with end-users to resolve issues pertaining to the organization’s core software applications. Work with the needs of the business units within the Bank to ensure systems, applications, and process work streams are working effectively and accurately. Provides support to employees for specification research, report writing, and software updates.
Serve as point of contact and subject matter expert for multiple applications. Maintain users and user reviews for multiple applications. Applications include, but not limited to, Fiserv Core application with UFS and auxiliary products throughout the bank.
Identifies opportunities for new or more efficient core applications or processes and ensures the bank is using the core software to meet all its needs.
Assist Project Manager in all functions of system support and processes.
Maintains current knowledge of core software and auxiliary applications and the regulations that affect them and makes recommendation of upgrades of hardware and software, or modifications to procedures to improve efficiency and maintain regulatory compliance.
Performs monthly monitoring and verification of selected reports on Director.
Responsible for Facilitating all Year-End Tax Reporting and coordinating between the core and the bank employees through publications.
Report Writing for various departments throughout the bank.
Pursue additional knowledge through training offered through webinars, 3rd party software and by Legend Bank.
Provides technical assistance and training to system users by phone, in person, email and via help desk requests.
Diagnose software issues and takes remedial actions or recommends procedural changes.
Spec configurations in applications such as the core.
Performs routine tasks to maintain applications and their peripherals.
Responsible for tracking each communication, performing the operation or distributing it to the correct bank personnel for completion and tracking it to make sure it is completed.
Responsible for providing in-house technical support that includes answering questions and resolving problems for end-users of the organization’s core software and its auxiliary applications.
Manages the relationship between the bank and its core software provider, documenting, tracking and reporting issues.
Provides individual or group training for personnel on the capabilities of core software and its auxiliary products.
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
EDUCATION: High School education or equivalent required. Proven experience in project management. Strong understanding of formal project management methodologies. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE:
3 yrs. core banking software (e.g. Fiserv Premier) and auxiliary applications required.
Working knowledge of Banking Operations and banking applications required.
Strong familiarity with all Microsoft and PC operating systems, MS Office applications,
Custom report writing experience and understanding required.
Working knowledge of MOVEit (Managed File Transfer Software)
