The Role
Legend is searching for a Senior Frontend Developer to join our team.
Reporting to the Front End Manager, the successful candidate will work closely with our talented team of developers tasked with developing and deploying great work. You will be given the opportunity to take part in complex technical projects and deliver iterative solutions that provide value at each step of the way. Working in a fast-paced environment and contributing to optimal flow in a rapidly changing design/technology environment, you’ll enjoy working closely with partners across the business and within your team to solve problems. You’ll also be given an opportunity to step up to the plate and knock it out of the park, if you’re up to it. As a contributor, you’ll be a great communicator, focused on discovering and delivering solutions. Finally, genuinely enjoying sharing your knowledge with others will be the cherry on top!

\n- Write clean, readable, and well-structured code following previously set standards.
- Fix bugs and complex issues.
- Coach and mentor teammates and review teammates’ code.
- Collaborate closely with Designers, Product Managers, and Engineers.
- Identify areas of improvement in the code & front-end architecture.
- Create detailed solution documents and architecture diagrams for larger-scale initiatives.
- Proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks (e.g. Core web vitals, JavaScript performance optimisation).
- Strong JavaScript (ES6 ), HTML, and CSS skills (7 years) and experience with frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue, plus state management tools (e.g., Vuex, Pinia, Redux)
- Experience with server-side rendering (SSR) and a solid understanding of rendering strategies (e.g., static site generation, client-side rendering, hybrid approaches).
- A passion for clean code, scalable architectures, and thorough code reviews.
- Experience with Git, including version control workflows and resolving complex scenarios.
- Experience integrating REST APIs, WebSockets, or Server-Sent Events (SSE) into front-end applications.
- Experienced in optimizing web application performance (including Core Web Vitals and JavaScript execution) while identifying and resolving front-end security vulnerabilities (e.g., XSS, CSRF, dependency risks).
- Experience with configuring modern build tools and pipelines (e.g., Webpack, Vite, Babel).
- Expertise in Vue.js/Nuxt.js or PHP/Laravel; knowledge of micro front-end architecture is a plus.
- 1st: Initial Chat with Talent Partner (30 mins via Zoom)
- 2nd: Technical interview with our team, Frontend Team Lead and Project Manager (1 - 1,5 hour video via Zoom)
- 3rd: Take home task - you will be given 5 days to complete the task and send it back to the team
- 4th: Final interview with our team (1 hour video via Zoom)
