Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Driver (Independent Contractor) to join our team. Legendary Logistics is seeking professional, safety conscious, focused delivery drivers / owner operators in the Cleveland area for same day deliveries.
Duties
- Navigate assigned routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Ensure that your vehicle is maintained in good condition.
- Follow all company policies and procedures related to safety and operational standards.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and auto insurance is a plus.
- Ability to provide your own vehicle.
- Cargo vans, Minivans, Crossover vehicles, SUVs or Pickup Trucks with a tonneau cover preferred.
- Smart phone required (Android / iPhone) to scan packages.
- Contractors will handle, organize, and secure packages with the utmost care. Accomplish a 100% on-time delivery rate within strict time limits. Verify each delivery against shipping instructions before delivering to customers. Obey traffic laws and follow established traffic and transportation procedures. No experience necessary.
- Ability to lift heavy packages (up to 40 pounds) as needed during loading and unloading processes.
