SHIFT: Full-time/Part-time, Days/Nights/Weekends/Holidays or as needed
CLASSIFICATION: Non-Gaming, Non-Exempt Position
POSITION: Full-time/Part-time
JOB SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Food and Beverage Manager, the Snack Bar attendant is responsible for performing a variety of duties within the snack bar establishment which may include completing customer transactions and cleaning the food and stock areas. A friendly, professional attitude is always required. Must be willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays. A neat clean appearance is a must.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
· High school diploma/GED preferred.
· Previous cash handling experience preferred.
· Previous cooking experience preferred.
· Must be able to process money transactions and provide change accurately.
· Must be able to provide customers with a timely, friendly, professional manner.
· Excellent customer service skills.
· High standards of personal hygiene.
· An awareness of health and safety issues.
· Ability to multi-task.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Must adhere to Legendary Waters Resort & Casino’s policies and procedures.
· Must adhere to all appearance and uniform standards.
· Greet customers and take orders, prepare food, and provide information about menu items.
· Cleans and stocks all work areas.
· Assist with a variety of kitchen-related functions as needed.
· Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed including wrapping, labeling, dating, stocking, storing, rotating, and checking temperatures of products.
· Sanitizes workstations and equipment.
· Engage in friendly conversations with guests whenever possible.
· Must be able to stand for long periods.
· Must be able to lift 25 lbs.
· Perform other duties as assigned.
