Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy IT Support Technician to assist with a Windows 10 to Windows 11 upgrade project. This is a temporary, 2-month contract role focused on upgrading Lenovo laptops and providing general IT support during the migration process. Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience with memory installation in Lenovo laptops, a solid understanding of basic computer skills, and the flexibility to work varying shifts.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in upgrading Lenovo laptops from Windows 10 to Windows 11.
- Perform memory (RAM) installations and hardware checks on Lenovo laptops.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to the upgrade process.
- Maintain detailed documentation of upgrades and issues encountered.
- Provide end-user support during and after upgrades.
- Collaborate with IT team to ensure smooth project execution.
- Follow standard procedures and project timelines.
Requirements
- Proven experience with Lenovo laptops, especially RAM installation.
- Solid knowledge of Windows 10 and Windows 11 environments.
- Basic understanding of computer hardware and software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Flexible with working hours, including the ability to work different shifts
- This role has first and second shift available: 8 AM–4 PM and 1 PM–9 PM.
