The Venue
As a new addition in our fastest growing business vertical, Legends designed, built and operates Sky View Observatory (“SVO”), an innovative guest experience on the 73rd floor of the Columbia Center. SVO will set a new standard in the observatory experience in Seattle. Breathtaking 360-degree panoramic views including Mt. Rainier, Bellevue.
Responsibilities
- Prepare specialty foods such as sandwiches and appetizers, following specific methods that usually require short preparation time.
- Clean, stock, and restock kitchen and bar.
- Coordinate with and assist bartenders to meet guests’ needs and support the operation of the restaurant.
- Measure ingredients required for specific food items being prepared.
- Operate kitchen equipment and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Observe and practice all established health, safety and sanitation procedures.
- Prepare food presentation for catered and special events.
- Assist in setting up and breaking down dining, bar, and event areas.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth and efficient service.
- Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities.
- Uphold Sky View Observatory’s standards of service and hospitality.
- Perform all opening, closing, and cleaning procedures as indicated in the Employee Training Manual
Qualifications
- Minimum of 21 years of age
- 1 year experience in food preparation in a bar environment; bar support experience is a plus.
- 1 year experience in preparing and executing catering dishes
- Ability to follow written and oral direction.
- Ability to work under pressure and independently.
- Practice safe work habits; follow all safety policies, procedures and regulations, complete company-wide safety training and any additional job specific safety training.
- Punctuality as outlined in our attendance policy
- Ability to work extended hours and flexible shifts including mornings, nights, weekends and holidays
- MAST and Food Handler’s permit required
- Ability to lift 50 pounds

Pay $23/hr DOE plus tip
