Description
The Guest Services Rep is responsible for assigned funds and protection of company assets in a positive manner with guest or team members, ensuring they receive the best possible experience.
Job Requirements:
- Make change, cash E-tickets, and slot payouts.
- Issue employee banks to assigned employees and their departments.
- Maintain composure in a potentially stressful environment.
- Responsible for all key transactions in the cage, per gaming regulations.
- Thorough knowledge of applicable Company and departmental policies and procedures as well as the willingness to learn and follow any policy or procedure that may be introduced in the future.
- Sign up new Rewards Members, update players accounts, explain benefits, rewards, and ongoing promotions, assist players having account issues.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma and/or GED required.
- Must have previous experience in handling cash.
- Knowledge of Title 31 requirements while enforcing gaming policies and procedures.
Additional Requirements:
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Must be able to work independently and unsupervised.
- Must be able to use a 10 key and have strong computer skills.
- Basic knowledge of S.D.S, or Casino Market Place is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to deal with inebriated customers in a courteous manner.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, with variable overtime.
- Must be able to tolerate areas containing secondary smoke, high noise levels, bright lights, and dust.
