Job Summary
The Clinical Program Manager position is a highly responsible position at Legends Recovery Center of Ohio. Work is performed under the direct supervision of the Clinical Director/Administrator. This position oversees the clinical operations of Legends Recovery Center of Ohio including programs, scheduling, protocols and delivery of services, while assisting the Clinical Director in the overall operation of clinical services. The minimum qualifications for this position are a Bachelor’s Degree and two years of experience working with clients with primary substance abuse and mental health issues.

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university and two years related experience and/or training. Preferred licensure and/or certification; minimum CDCA.

This position is responsible for ensuring that contracts are maintained. The duties and responsibilities of this position are complex and require knowledge of the agency’s policy, procedures, contracts/memorandum of agreements (MOA) and program activities. Specific duties are attached (see below). This position requires the utilization of independent judgment, strong initiative and decision - making skills and the ability to provide technical complex clerical and administrative support to the administrative support staff, clinicians and administrators. The employee is responsible for the completion of projects in a timely manner. Excellent typing, computer, filing and clinical writing skills are required. Coordination, planning and assisting the Clinical Director in scheduling of events and presentations are an important part of this position. The employee is responsible for generating reports as identified. Employee makes a responsible effort to adhere to established safety procedures and practices in the workplace and complies with information security policies, protocols and procedures. This is a sensitive position and the position is required to maintain confidential information in accordance with the HIPPA, Information Security Policy, Protocols, Procedures and CFR-42 Part 2. Employee is expected to communicate (in person, in writing, including correspondence and e-mail, and by telephone) in a courteous manner at all times. Possession of a valid Ohio Driver’s License is required. Private automobile of employee is required for use in this position. The employee’s duties include independently completing assignments and assisting the medical doctors, clinicians/ administrators and staff in the collection of data and preparation of reports. The employee is responsible for conducting individual, family and group counseling sessions, weekly updates to family members and assisting the Legends Recovery Center of Ohio Clinical Director (CD), Director of Operations (DoO) and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) in coordination of activities within the agency and with the community and collaborative partners. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Core duties and responsibilities including the following. Other duties may be assigned. The employee will ensure all contracts are maintained and documentation is in compliance with contract standards.

● Conduct individual, family and group counseling sessions.

● Perform orientation/training for all new clinicians hired.

● Maintain charts/files/records to ensure they are in compliance with standards set forth by accrediting agencies including but not limited to Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services, and other agencies.

● Assist in the implementation of an electronic medical record and ensure that all records are maintained according to agency standards.

● Ensure clinical schedules are developed weekly and are followed in the best interest of client care.

● Assist CD/CoO in ensuring that all clients’ needs are met in accordance with all licensed levels of care including, but not limited to Detox, Residential Treatment, Day & Night Treatment Services with and without Community Housing, Intensive Outpatient and Outpatient standards.

● Assist the CD/CoO with working directly with psychiatrists, doctors and other professionals to ensure continuity of client care.

● Make independent decisions in the processing of routine correspondence, investigate subject matter and prepare appropriate responses and prepare drafts of memoranda and correspondence.

● Conduct intakes, orientations and assessments, as needed.

● Assist in the implementation of evidence-based practices including Client Directed Outcome Informed therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Twelve Step Facilitation, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Positive Parenting Program, etc. 1

● Work in collaboration with Legends Recovery Center of Ohio CD, CoO, CEO and Management Team to grow and develop programming and services.

● Participate in quality assurance activities including clinical chart peer reviews, etc.

● Attend Performance Improvement meetings weekly.

● Facilitate clinical meetings to discuss client cases and treatment/discharge planning. Meet with each staff member from the clinical team (individually) weekly to problem solve, receive curriculum feedback, and case conceptualize, etc.

● Answer and screen phone calls. Direct phone calls to the appropriate clinician or administrator. Take complete and accurate messages. Schedule appointments with clients and clinicians.

● Acknowledge/greet customers/clients immediately with a warm, friendly smile and offer to assist them.

● Maintain a filing system for all pending and completed requisitions.

● Attend community meetings, as needed.

● Performs other related duties as assigned. (Example: Assist in performing alcohol and drug testing)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $54,000.00 per year
