This role is part of the ride and attractions maintenance team, which is an integral part of our Technical Services department. As a member of the maintenance team, you will play a major role in the success of our resort and have one of the most important responsibilities throughout the park. You must always provide and guarantee a fun and safe environment for our guests with a focus on safety, ensuring that our rides are inspected, maintained, and repaired to the highest levels possible.
Role Description
- Supervise all day-to-day maintenance of all rides and ride related areas, including but not limited to, daily/weekly/monthly planned preventative maintenance (PPM’s) and reactive maintenance
- Assist the Maintenance Manager in the development and implementation of the annual rides planned preventative maintenance schedule and 3rd party inspections, as well as, in the scheduling and coordination of all Ride Maintenance Technicians.
- Work directly with Training and Compliance team to ensure maintenance technicians are properly trained and up to date on all rides, equipment, policies, and procedures within Technical Services
- Monitor maintenance records, reports, work orders and inventory supplies within the Enterprise Asset Management system.
- Maintain Rides and Attractions in a safe and proper working condition in accordance with the Occupational Safety and Health
- Keeps safety as #1 priority.
- Communicate effectively with ride vendors to request spare part quotations, resolve any issues, ensure ride manuals are current
- Liaise with 3rd party inspection bodies and New York state Department of Labor to complete annual inspections in a timely manner.
Qualifications & Experience:
- About You
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Supervisory or Lead experience in mechanical and maintenance industry
- Can manage budget and assets including labor, material, and services
- Working knowledge of ASTM F24 preferred but not required
- Experience using an Asset Management system such as INFOR, IBM Maximo, i4EAM, MAPCON EAM
- Able to multitask and communicate with both internal and external partners
- Ensure internal compliance with maintenance, safety, and security procedures
- Knowledgeable in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Friendly, outgoing personality
- Ability to make a child’s day memorable

- Ability to stand/walk for long periods of time, and long distances and work outdoors in any weather condition
- Flexible Availability around park hours (peak and nonpeak times) with the ability to work nights/weekends/holidays
