What you'll bring to the team
We are recruiting Shuttle Drivers who are positive, careful, and safety minded as they transport our LEGOLAND employees throughout the resort.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain the safety of our employees while operating the shuttle
- Transport employees along pre-established route
- Take ownership in emergency situations
- Inspect vehicle every day prior to operation for safety hazards and vehicle maintenance. Submit inspection report to department leaders.
- Notify dept leaders and public safety immediately of any incidents involving shuttle
- Greet employees in a professional manner, while boarding and disembarking
- Speil and communicate to employees on board any on-goings in the resort
- Assist employees boarding/ disembarking as needed
- May include pushing, pulling, twisting, stooping
- Ability to climb various heights
- Responsible for keeping vehicle clean and presentable at all times
- Prolonged sitting for a period of time
- Ability to drive in weather conditions and night
- Ability to maintain traffic regulations and guidelines set forth by the Resort
- Operate radio or similar device to communicate with LEGO base and other vehicles
Qualifications & Experience
Basic Qualifications:
- Applicants must be 21 years old or older or longer and have no more than 2 minor violations or at fault accidents within the last 3 years, due to licensed driving requirements
- Have a valid US Driver’s License, currently held 1 year or longer.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Current driver’s license in good standing
- Availability must include early mornings, nights, weekends and holidays
- Some shifts may start as early as 5:00 am, while some may end as late as midnight
- Training for vehicle will be conducted on property
- Required to pass a background check, drug test, and prove eligibility to work in the United States.
Pay Range
USD $16.00/Hr.Salary : $16
