Scope of Job: Under the direction and supervision of the Head of Training and Compliance, the Technical Systems Coordinator will be responsible for creating, updating, scheduling and developing Technical Services Work Orders for Planned Preventative Maintenance of Resort Assets, as well as making enhancements to the Location and System Hierarchy where applicable. They will ensure conformity to required schedules of works and Inventory management processes to allow for sufficient stock control and finance reporting using the Technical Services Asset Management System, HxGN (previously INFOR) and continue to expand the system through continued Development Projects.

Main Responsibilities will be, but not limited to, the following:
- Tracking of all Planned Preventative Work Orders through HxGN, the parkwide asset management system. Working with department managers to action any that are overdue.
- Development of Work Order Dashboards to display Key Information.
- Support with development of Preventative Maintenance Plans across the Technical Teams and the associated Work Orders and PM Schedules.
- Work with Stores/Inventory Team alongside Departmental Management Team for tracking and validating used inventory items to match up to reactive and corrective maintenance work orders.
- Updating Asset Registers and Resort Asset Hierarchy held within HxGN as the Resort grows.
- Implementing approved modifications to ride PPM Checklists as directed by the Head of Technical Training and Compliance.
- Working closely with the department Management Team to lend mutual aid to all issues that arise within the system to build a cohesive team atmosphere.
- Support training sessions on new HxGN processes for the Technical Services Team.
- Working with the Technical Services Management Team to ensure effective Scheduling of Planned Preventative Maintenance Taks for the Resort, Hotels and Water Park.
Other Job Requirements:
- Flexible schedule to include hours during evenings, weekends and holidays to support the Resort Operation and Technical Shifts as required.
HSS:
- Ensures internal compliance with maintenance, safety and security procedures by following established ASTM (American Society for Testing & Materials International), NEC (National Electrical Code), NSF (National Science Foundation), OHSA as well as state and local codes.
- Ensure full compliance of policies and procedures set forth within the Health, Safety & Security in the workplace Manual and in line with the Merlin Entertainments Group Policy.
- Understand risk assessments within own workplace and ensure reporting of any new risks to the appropriate manager.
- Compliance of safe working procedures for work activities within one’s job role, but cognizant of the effects on others prior to the activity/function.
- In cases of incidents or accidents ensure appropriate reporting is done in a timely manner to the duty manager.
Health & Safety:
Employees are responsible for the safety of themselves, their colleagues, and guests (where appropriate), in line with the Group Policy (HS001) and the law. They must ensure that they follow safe working procedures for all work activities that they undertake, and they must not use any tools or equipment for which they have not been trained. Where incidents do occur, they must ensure that they are reported to their line manager and must cooperate with any investigation as appropriate.
Qualifications & Experience:
Skills, Experience & Qualifications:
- Previous Asset Management and Tracking with Asset Management Systems, like HxGN, Maximo, CMMS, Asset Panda desirable.
- Experience with Computerised Maintenance Management Systems and/or experience of using database software/excel to input/manipulate data.
- Understanding of requirements of Planned Preventative Maintenance and Work Order processes ideal.
- Good organizational skills are necessary to take charge of organizing scheduled work and improving the efficiency of the tracking and the reporting process.
- Good eye for detail. It is essential to be able to correctly put together and implement maintenance schedules and task plans associated with the Resort Assets.
- The ability to manage multiple projects in an efficient and timely manner is important in this position.
- Desire to find ways to improve the information held within the system and the way in which it is utilised to benefit the Department Managers.
- Good written and verbal communication skills are crucial to develop the System as required and ensure information is appropriately conveyed to the Technical Teams.
- Problem-solving skills to come up with ways to improve overall efficiency and overcome problems that may arise as well as developing solutions and new processes.
- OSHA 10 for General Industry a plus.
- Previous Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel necessary.
