This pivotal role will contribute to the university's mission of excellence in research by providing comprehensive support in proposal development, award management, and sponsor compliance. The Lehigh community takes seriously our commitment to antiracism and The Principles of our Equitable Community.Position Number : S84160This position is a Grade : 9 - 40 with an approximate salary range of $54,390-$66,190 and is subject to change based on experience, skills and qualifications.Key responsibilities include :

• Administers, coordinates and facilitates proposal preparation and submission through direct counsel with researchers, authorized institutional representatives and sponsors
• Negotiates and accepts funded project terms and conditions
• Monitors and authorizes funded project financial and compliance activities from project inception through closeout, including audit, if applicable
• Maintains broad interface with federal / state sponsors, industry and the research and educational community at largeQualifications :
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business, a related field or the equivalent combination of education and experience
• One to three years of related work experience
• Highly developed oral and written communications skills
• Demonstrated knowledge of federal regulations relating to contract or grant agreements
• Experience in monitoring contract or grant budgets
• Experience managing and maintaining software packages
