Warehouse Team Member

Lehrkind's Coca-Cola is needing a Full-time crew member to join our team. This job consists of loading/unloading trucks and keeping the warehouse clean.

Hours: Start at 10:00am-11:00am

Major responsibilities:

• Lead in the daily task of ensuring all product pallets are built to the precise specifications of the Picklist assigned to you and plastic wrapped appropriately.
• Utilize the “Pick Kiosk” to ensure that product Picklists are amended/corrected before a pallet is loaded for delivery.
• Ensure the tag bar-code is visible on all completed pallets.
• Ensure that all products in the warehouse are being properly rotated at all times and that product back stock and breakage is kept under control.
• Daily cleaning includes plastic removal, sweeping, wiping down surfaces, stacking empty pallets, general warehouse upkeep, and stacking empty kegs in the back of the warehouse.
• Trucks: all trucks are to be completely cleaned out before loading. As you progress in skills and qualifications, you may learn to move trucks in/out of the warehouse.
• Responsible for staging the pallets once completed.
• While minimal, all broken product is sorted onto a specific pallet/area to be dealt with.
• Responsible for checking dates of product – no expired product leaves.
• Returned product – when product is returned, it is to be inspected for dates and damages and sorted accordingly.
• Become forklift certified
• Clean up and maintain the refrigerated beer cooler.
• Restocking the rollers as needed – (rolling product pick racks)
• Ensure each battery-powered pallet jack/forklift are plugged in every night before leaving.

Position requirements:

• Minimum Cases Thrown: reference the Case Count agreement form.
• Strong organization skills and ability to listen, follow, and carry out directions set forth.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze and effectively solve on-site problems while under potentially stressful situations.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent team player and ability to work overtime as needed
• All warehouse crew members must wear closed toe shoes and act accordingly to Lehrkind’s Company handbook.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and subsequent random quarterly drug screenings.
