As a vital member of our Customer Service team, you will assist renters, tenants, property managers, homebuyers, and homeowners by offering essential resources and referrals to address their housing needs. Available Customer Support Opportunities :
Full-time (32 - 40 hours per week)
Part-time (25 - 31 hours per week)
Work hours from 11 : 35 am to 8 : 05 pm ET in Indianapolis, IN (subject to change based on customer needs).
Options for split shifts may be available, pending manager approval.
Your Responsibilities as a Customer Support Specialist :
Respond to calls and emails from the public regarding housing and FHA mortgages.
Utilize a knowledge base and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to address customer inquiries.
Provide exceptional customer service in a high-volume call center, including effective management of customer complaints.
Document communications with customers via email and phone within our internal database.
To Excel in This Role, You Should Have :
A strong ability to navigate multiple computer systems and applications, effectively utilizing search tools to assist clients.
Excellent time management skills and a strong sense of dependability.
Experience with MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Teams).
Strong written and verbal communication skills with professional telephone etiquette.
Keyboarding proficiency of at least 40 words per minute.
Required Qualifications :
A High School diploma or General Educational Development (GED) certificate.
At least 2 years of experience in a contact center or telephone customer service environment.
Ability to obtain a Public Trust Security clearance, which includes a credit check and background investigation.
Bilingual (English & Spanish) proficiency, both verbal and written.
Preferred Qualifications :
Experience in a call center environment, preferably omnichannel.
Background in rental property management or mortgage servicing, including complaint resolution.

Compensation : The pay for this position is $18.00 per hour.
This position is covered under the Service Contract Act and is subject to minimum wage demands as well as minimum Health and Welfare benefits. Leidos ensures that all provisions are met through their wages and benefits.
