Leidos is seeking a skilled Cyber Operations Technician to join our team in San Antonio, TX. This is an exciting opportunity to apply your expertise in support of the Air Force's Integrated Defensive Cyber Systems mission. Primary Responsibilities:
- Configure and Maintain Jira Projects: Design, customize, and manage Jira projects, workflows, issue types, and schemes to support evolving business and team requirements.
- Develop and Manage Dashboards: Create and maintain dynamic Jira dashboards and reports that provide visibility into project progress, KPIs, and team performance.
- Leverage Jira for Business Operations: Analyze operational workflows and translate findings into actionable Jira visualizations to drive informed decision-making.
- Implement Automation: Build and optimize automation rules to streamline repetitive tasks, enhance efficiency, and reduce manual workload within Jira.
- Provide Jira Support and Troubleshooting: Serve as the go-to resource for resolving Jira issues, addressing user concerns, and ensuring platform stability and usability.
- Deliver User Training and Onboarding: Facilitate training sessions for new users and teams, promoting adoption of Jira best practices and ensuring effective onboarding.
- Monitor System Health: Regularly assess Jira system performance and usage to proactively identify and resolve bottlenecks or technical issues.
- Collaborate with Stakeholders: Partner with product managers, project managers, and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement tailored Jira solutions.
- Maintain Jira-Confluence Integration: Manage and update Jira's integration with Confluence to ensure seamless collaboration and information sharing.
- Track and Report Jira Metrics: Collect, analyze, and present data-driven insights and metrics to support project tracking, performance evaluation, and continuous improvement.
Basic Qualifications:
- Requires BS and less then 2 years of prior relevant experience, additional years of experience will be accepted in lieu of a degree.
- Strong Understanding of Process Workflows: Deep knowledge of workflow configuration, custom fields, issue types, and transitions to streamline and enhance team operations.
- Basic Scripting Skills: Proficient in Structured Query Language (SQL) and familiar with basic scripting to support automation and reporting needs.
- Technical Troubleshooting: Excellent problem-solving abilities to diagnose and resolve issues related to performance, configuration, and user experience.
- Clear Communication: Skilled at translating complex technical concepts into simple terms for non-technical stakeholders. Experienced in delivering training and support to end users.
- Detail-Oriented: Committed to maintaining clean, organized configurations and accurate data to support efficient project tracking and reporting.
- Collaborative Team Player: Demonstrated ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment and contribute to shared goals.
