Description
Leidos offers an exciting opportunity for a skilled Project Manager to join our team on the Cargo Mission Contract (CMC) in support of Extravehicular (EHP) programs. This role involves working closely with various stakeholders and requires some domestic travel.
US Citizenship or US Permanent Residency, and the ability to successfully obtain a Public Trust Security Clearance are required.
Primary Responsibilities
- Identify promising project candidates and investments to enhance and integrate vital technologies. Evaluate Program risks and capability gaps, ensuring alignment with EHP priorities and technology roadmaps.
- Collaborate with EHP offices to understand their needs and facilitate risk reduction and gap closure.
- Oversee technical, cost, and schedule aspects of authorized projects. Coordinate with performing organizations and the Technical Integration and Partnerships (TI&P) business manager.
- Effectively communicate project scope, objectives, and progress to team members and stakeholders.
- Create and maintain an integrated Project Portfolio schedule with crucial milestones.
- Identify and monitor project risks; support the EHP risk coordination process in collaboration with EHP offices.
- Present Project Portfolio status briefings to EHP offices, EHP Technology Panel (monthly), and external stakeholders as necessary.
- Perform systems engineering and technical integration across EHP and other NASA stakeholders as part of strategy and planning.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of EHP Technology Roadmaps, facilitating M2M architecture implementation and risk reduction with partners like MCO and STMD.
- Lead the creation of the EHP Lunar Surface Systems roadmap.
- Support the annual EHP roadmap update cycle, including public dissemination.
- Facilitate TI&P integration throughout each technology project's lifecycle to ensure successful infusion and resolution of issues across internal, external, and international organizations.
- Establish and coordinate infusion plans with all stakeholders for maturing technologies within the Project Portfolio.
- Stay informed about relevant national and international technology activities across government, industry, and academia.

Pay Range :
Pay Range $72,150.00 - $130,425.00
