Join us as a Lead Configuration & Document Management Specialist , a fully remote position that requires occasional travel to the customer site at Fort Meade, MD to support SIPR deliverables.
Our Opportunity :
The Digital Modernization Sector at Leidos is looking for a passionate Lead Configuration & Document Management Specialist. To thrive in this role, you should possess a deep understanding of Configuration Management (CM) practices including planning, identification, change control, status accounting, and validation across various product baselines. Familiarity with SharePoint and Teams is a plus, and you should be ready to develop, document, and enhance CM processes in support of DISA J6 DoDNet Services.
Clearance Requirement :
Must hold an active DoD Secret clearance for consideration. (US Citizenship required)
Primary Responsibilities :
- Be a flexible team player capable of prioritizing and supporting multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Develop and implement configuration management plans, collaborating with engineering teams to establish configuration baselines.
- Identify, document, and control changes to configuration items effectively.
- Prepare configuration control reports and maintain status in line with established plans.
- Engage with stakeholders to document and improve operational processes.
- Optimize CM methodologies, processes, and associated tools to enhance efficiency.
- Provide thought leadership on best practices in configuration management.
- Administer SharePoint site, managing permissions, workflows, and content on DoDNet and Leidos domains.
- Monitor and audit document configurations using functional and physical methods along with data analysis.
- Manage the deployment and control of software application baselines and their associated configurations.
- Coordinate resolution of cross-discipline action items from various reviews and meetings.
- Ensure control over all products throughout the system and delivery engineering lifecycle.
- Oversee version control and updates of documents, ensuring they meet project requirements.
- Establish meaningful metrics to monitor and report trends effectively.
- Maintain deliverable baselines and coordinate document tracking on DoDNet and Leidos domain sites.

Pay Range : $85,150.00 - $153,925.00
