Join our Digital Modernization Sector as a results-oriented Lead Strategic Planner to support the Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications (NC3) Enterprise Center's (NEC) Systems Engineering and Integration (SE&I) Division.

We invite you to join a dynamic team of innovative technical experts in our Systems Engineering and Integration division. The SE&I Division is the lead for enterprise-level systems engineering and architecture and serves as the technical authority on Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications within the Department of Defense. Your work will help translate mission and operational requirements into effective solutions and capabilities under the guidance of the Commander, U.S. Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM).
What will you do in this role?
Collaborate with the customer to understand Division and Branch missions, and work closely with Project Managers to execute plans aligned with organizational goals.
Support the alignment of processes and resources to effectively accomplish planned and ad-hoc tasks.
Develop and sustain an engineering campaign plan in partnership with key stakeholders, capturing programs and initiatives that support the modernization of the NC3 Enterprise. This includes creating implementation plans, timelines, and integrated planning documents.
Work with NEC Branch Chiefs to integrate opportunities and new technologies into the NC3 Enterprise architecture, including supporting the publication of guidance and policy.
Evaluate new technologies and innovations, providing technical recommendations that align with evolving NC3 Enterprise requirements.
Communicate clearly and professionally, preparing effective briefings and documentation for stakeholders.
Basic Qualifications
Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field with 8-12 years of experience, or a Master's degree with 6-10 years of experience.
You must also have at least 5 years of experience in the following areas :
Analyzing programs to determine requirements.
Tracking program processes and controls.
Developing reports on analysis findings.
Drafting program documentation for management.
Creating, reviewing, and tracking performance metrics.
This position also requires :
The ability to multi-task and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including effective presentation abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications (e.g., MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams).
Preferred Qualifications
Expertise in DOD acquisition / requirements processes, systems analysis, and engineering, particularly related to NC3.
Knowledge of NC3, National Leadership Command Capability (NLCC), or Senior Leader Command, Control and Communications System (SLC3S).
Experience collaborating with stakeholders within the Nuclear C3 community including Air Force, Navy, NEC, USSTRATCOM, USCYBERCOM, the Joint Staff, and OSD.

Pay Range : Pay Range $89,700.00 - $162,150.00
