Job Description
As a Senior Buyer/Purchasing professional, you will be responsible for procuring IT hardware, maintenance/support materials, data, goods/services, and components. You will negotiate favorable prices and terms for higher complexity procurements, administer purchase orders, maintain files, and manage supplier relationships.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with 4 years of related experience (additional relevant experience, training, or certification may be accepted in lieu of a degree)
- Familiarity with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)
- Experience buying tangible goods
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
