The Intelligence Group at Leidos is excited to announce an opening for a Senior Data Science Specialist that focuses on delivering impactful data-driven solutions to enhance the mission area of Maritime Features, including Surface, Publications, Events, Dissemination, Source Assessment, and Metrics. This role will be fundamental in processing and analyzing collected data to support our client's objectives.
Duties :
- Collect and process data, performing thorough data analysis.
- Integrate and manage centralized data in database management systems (DBMS).
- Clean, massage, and organize data for improved usability.
- Conduct ad hoc analyses and present findings in a simple yet compelling manner.
- Effectively communicate complex quantitative analyses using storytelling techniques and visualizations.
- Develop, deploy, and maintain cloud applications to facilitate data migration and production processes.
- Create and maintain tools to extract features data and metadata from diverse sources.
- Write and maintain Python scripts in ArcGIS to enhance production efficiency.
- Support business process re-engineering initiatives.
- Carry out data conversion and migration tasks.
- Perform business analytics to derive actionable insights.
