Position Overview :
Leidos is at the forefront of the Digital Transformation initiative at the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) in Fort Belvoir, VA. We are looking for a driven full-time Senior Network Solutions Engineer with extensive experience in deploying and managing large, distributed network environments. You will play a crucial role in translating customer requirements into scalable, redundant, and secure solutions using best industry practices.

Primary Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with the engineering team on the installation, configuration, testing, and lifecycle management of networks and systems.
- Manage data applications and backups, lead disaster recovery efforts, and conduct Information Systems vulnerability assessments.
- Research and implement advanced technologies to optimize network performance.
- Recommend cost-effective solutions for network enhancements.
- Implement DoD-mandated compliance and security configurations; maintain security patches and adhere to industry best practices.
- Create, maintain, and implement comprehensive technical documentation for operational procedures across the enterprise.
- Support Information Systems audits by providing timely updates and data.
- Provide essential input to the network logistics team.
- Attend relevant meetings as needed; minimal travel may be required.
- Complete tasks efficiently within strict deadlines with minimal oversight.

Pay Range :
Pay Range $104,650.00 - $189,175.00
