Job Summary
The Title Assistant plays a crucial role in the real estate and financial services industry by supporting the title and closing process. This position will also assist Attorney with other tasks that are not included in this summary.
Duties
- Assist in preparing title documents and contracts for real estate transactions.
- Conduct credit analysis and underwriting to assess borrower qualifications.
- Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations throughout the title process.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to title searches and closings.
- Collaborate with lenders, real estate agents, and clients to facilitate smooth transactions.
- Perform math calculations related to loan amounts, interest rates, and closing costs.
- Utilize 10 key typing skills for data entry tasks efficiently.
- Support the mortgage servicing team by providing necessary documentation and information.
Skills
- Proficient in math skills for accurate calculations in financial documents.
- Experience with loan origination processes is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for managing multiple tasks.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
- Proficient typing skills, particularly 10 key typing for efficient data entry.
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 and cloud based systems extremely helpful.
This Title Assistant position offers an opportunity to grow within our firm and assist us in growing the real estate division within our firm.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
