Printing Press Operator

JOB IS LOCATED IN LYNCHBURG,VA AREA. GENEROUS RELOCATION PKG. IS PROVIDED.

Busy offset printing company in VA is expanding operations to their printing facility. The company is hiring Web Offset Press Operators for 12 hour night shift.

Responsibilities include:

• Read and interpret job orders.
• Set up, operation and maintenance of full size web offset press.
• Continually check registration, color, and quality during shift making adjustments as needed.
• 1st press operator will lead press crews and advise on production issues.
• Maintain press and work areas.
• Work closely with pressroom shift supervisor on schedule and jobs requirements.
  
  

Qualifications include:

• Minimum 5 - 7 years' experience operating web offset and/or sheetfed offset presses.
• Experience with in-line foil & embossing processes a plus.
• UV coating experience a plus.
• Good eye for color, registration and overall print quality to meet and/or exceed client expectations.
• Direct press crews and advise on any necessary adjustments during press runs.
• Good communications skills are required.
• Attention to detail.
• Team player.
• Able to work 12 hour night shift; 7pm - 7am .
  
  

Starting hourly rates: $30 - $41hr. shift differential, company benefits, 401k match and relocation assistance.
