Busy, high quality sheetfed printing company in VA is hiring an experienced Lead Offset Press Operator for 12 hour night shift.
Responsibilities include :
- Lead the night shift sheetfed team in printing jobs meeting company quality standards while maintaining optimum speeds and minimal downtime.
- Make ready 40" press for job runs to meet specifications, and / or press adjustments prior to production run to meet and maintain the quality specifications of the job.
- Provide guidance and leadership to the sheetfed team to ensure tasks are completed on-time and effectively.
- Assist pressroom manager and pressman with troubleshooting printing issues and QC sign offs.
- Train, develop and motivate team members.
- Assist pressroom manager and maintenance in the upkeep of machine activity logs and part usage logs
- Work with the pressroom manager and plant manager on continuous improvement projects.
Qualifications include :
Starting hourly rate $30 - $38 shift differential, benefits, 401k match and relocation assistance.
