Job Title: Finance and Insurance Specialist
Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable Finance and Insurance (F&I) Specialist to join our team at Leisure Time Powersports, a company that specializes in the sale of on-road, off-road, snowmobile, lawn & garden. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing customer finance options, selling extended warranty provisions, and managing title work. You will play a critical role in ensuring a seamless, efficient experience for customers while maximizing financial and insurance product sales.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Finance Options Development & Implementation:
- Work closely with customers to understand their financing needs and offer tailored finance options.
- Develop and implement financing plans for customers purchasing large equipment.
- Maintain relationships with banks, lending institutions, and other financial partners to ensure competitive financing options.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and company regulations regarding financing agreements.
- Warranty Sales & Provisions:
- Present and sell extended warranty products to customers, ensuring they understand the benefits and coverage details.
- Work with vendors to manage and administer warranty provisions for all equipment sold.
- Ensure that warranty documentation is accurately completed and processed.
- Title Work & Documentation:
- Process and manage all necessary title and registration paperwork for sale transactions.
- Prepare and ensure accuracy of sales documents, financing agreements, and title work, ensuring compliance with all legal requirements.
- Customer Support & Education:
- Provide clear, concise explanations of finance, insurance, and warranty options to customers.
- Assist customers with any questions regarding their financing or warranty options post-sale.
- Work to resolve customer issues promptly and professionally, ensuring satisfaction and loyalty.
- Sales Collaboration:
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify potential customers for finance and insurance products.
- Meet or exceed sales goals related to finance, insurance, and warranty products.
- Participate in training programs to stay updated on new finance options, product offerings, and industry regulations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in finance, insurance, or a related field, preferably in the power equipment or automotive industry.
- Strong understanding of finance options, loan structures, and title work.
- Ability to communicate complex financial and warranty information clearly and effectively.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations related to finance, insurance, and title work.
- Ability to build relationships with customers and lending institutions.
- Exceptional customer service and problem-solving skills.
- Sales experience and an ability to meet financial targets.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in large vehicle, automotive, or related industry.
- Familiarity with dealership management software and financial management tools.
- Certification in F&I or a related area is a plus.
Working Conditions:
- Full-time position
- Some travel may be required to meet with customers or financial institutions.
- Work is typically performed in an office or dealership environment, with some fieldwork.
