Overview
Administers human resources policies or programs in a single location of a multi-location organization. Provides human resources services, to include recruiting and staffing, training and development, employee relations, and equal employment opportunity compliance.
Essential Functions
- Interprets and administers organizational human resources policies and programs, relating to recruitment and onboarding, training and career development, and employee relations
- Assists line managers in the application of HR programs to departmental operations
- Maintains employee associated records
- Completes personnel transactions and ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including EEO, FMLA, and FLSA
- Answers basic employee questions about human resources policies or offerings
- Schedules interviews, orientations, or training sessions
- Manages the safety training programs and applicable OSHA Forms
- Coordinates Workmans' Compensation filing with third party insurance and maintains all appropriate files
- Provides coaching and counseling to employees regarding disciplinary issues
- Maintains strict confidentiality
- Performs other duties and/or tasks as assigned
Required Qualifications and Education
- Associate's Degree: Human Resource or related field
- 2-4 Years experience
- Interpersonal skills
- Verbal and written communication
- Confidentiality and integrity
