What are the responsibilities and job description for the Utility Worker position at LEMONTREE HEALTHCARE SERVICES LLC?
The Utility Worker responsibilities will be but not limited to:
- Managing cleanliness of food operations in a healthcare setting and multi-retail environment.
- Taking garbage and trash to dumpster area.
- Adhering to dress code, sanitation, and safety policies.
- Help the department to fulfill its mission by meeting or exceeding its goals.
- Upholds Lemontree Healthcare’s mission and maintains professional growth within the organization.
- Cleans kitchen area and workstation as directed.
- Participates in meetings and trainings.
- Always exudes a positive attitude.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and manages workflow well when the pace is slow.
- Keeps utensils clean during service and avoids cross contamination.
- Helps with organization of chemicals and uses them proper.
- Reports shortage or low stock items so that reorders can be made.
- Test dishwasher for accurate temperature reading.
- Cleans the dish room area, food carts and dish machine daily.
- Properly dry and put away dishes.
- Wear PPE properly.
- Performs other duties as required.
Qualifications & Requirements
Basic Education Requirement – Highschool diploma, passion for cleaning
Basic Management Experience – N/A
Basic Functional Experience – Be well versed in regulatory and sanitation practices.
