Responsibilities:
- Maintains employee files and personnel related data to ensure compliance with all federal and state laws.
- Performs customer service functions by redirecting HR related calls or distributing correspondence to the appropriate team member or vendor.
- Assisting in coordinating the implementation of employee orientation, training programs, compensation & benefits (including workers compensation and FMLA), and professional development programs.
- Makes photocopies; mails, scans, and emails documents; and performs other clerical functions.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Working understanding of human resource principles, practices, and procedures.
- Advanced verbal and written communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to function well in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Sensitivity to confidential matters is required.
- Must be able to pass pre-employment background screening.
