In this role, you’ll verify customer identity and credit worthiness with integrity while following three simple principles: “Build a Relationship, Make It Easy, and Think Ahead” What You'll Do Review personal loan applications with precision in a high-volume environment Review and verify financial documents such as Tax Returns, Pay Stubs, W2s, Bank Statements and 1099’s Deal with some ambiguity in the application review before responding to a customer’s unique situation Interact with our cross functional departments to help verify the members identity and/or employment verification Help us build upon our foundation of Lending Care and uphold the reputation of the best-in-class service Continue to learn the business and take ownership of your role and responsibilities About You College degree preferred 1 years of experience in the consumer lending industry Experience reviewing financial documents Think ahead and provide solutions that anticipate future needs Simplify complex processes and make it easy for customers to grasp Evolve with purpose by exemplifying passion about building relationships and improving customer experiences Adapt to new situations by thinking on your feet Translate feedback to actionable results and dedicate time to your professional development Have strong analytical, written & verbal communication skills Are comfortable and well versed in online research Do what’s right by understanding the value of empathy when it comes to providing service Proficient in using computers and able to quickly navigate multiple programs, type with precision, and efficiently research/browse information COVID-19 Considerations: LendingClub is currently working from home due to COVID-19, but we are asking for flexibility going forward as circumstances change and we determine to transition teams back to work in the office. The following are requirements to perform this role while working from home: Have a quiet, dedicated space at home that meets your ergonomic needs where you can work uninterrupted Have high speed internet with low usage during business hours Be able to connect directly into your modem/router (not via wifi) Be comfortable trouble shooting technical issues without in-person IT support Working Conditions Required to work on a computer and at a desk for extended periods of time including viewing a screen, using a mouse, and manipulating a keyboard. Must be able to function effectively in a dynamic fast-paced environment where natural and regular work stressors can occur.
