Leading Book Publishing company in New York City, Lower Manhattan, is looking for a Help Desk Support Tech.
Full Time Position.
70- $90K
Required to be on site 4 days per week.
Helpdesk Support Tech
Position Overview : The Helpdesk Support Technician will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to our internal staff. This role involves troubleshooting hardware and software issues, managing support tickets, and ensuring that our publishing operations run smoothly. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, possess excellent problem-solving skills, and have a strong understanding of both IT systems and publishing processes.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide first-line support for internal users, addressing hardware, software, and network issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems related to publishing software, office applications, and peripheral devices.
- Manage and prioritize support tickets using our helpdesk software, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, software, and other technology-related equipment.
- Assist with the onboarding and training of new employees on IT systems and company-specific applications.
- Maintain documentation of common issues, solutions, and procedures to improve support efficiency.
- Collaborate with other IT staff and departments to identify and resolve complex issues.
- Ensure that all technical support activities comply with company policies and standards.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in technology to provide up-to-date support.
