Manage accounts payable team consisting of an account payable clerk and a scanning clerk. Ensure that payments are made and records are kept in accordance with corporate policy.
Ability to professionally perform multiple, detail-orientated tasks; good written, verbal and organizational skills; able to follow directions from a supervisor.

- Hire, train and direct workload of Scanning Clerks and Accounts Payable Clerks.
- Plan most efficient way to convert paper files to digital.
- Prepare quarterly reviews for direct reports.
- Supervise team to ensure invoices are properly coded and approved for payment.
- Ensure payment group edit reports are properly prepared and approved for timely submission to Corporate A/P.
- Oversee Notice To Owner process and ensure payments are held where appropriate.
- Ensure Division is compliant with Insurance guidelines for vendors prior to payment. Process requests for exception to Sr. Management when necessary.
- Prepare Managers account checks and process through Quicken. Enter check data into JDE monthly. Request cash from Treasury, as needed, to replenish account.
- Transferring Land payments.
- Managing customer deposits and wire payments.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of five years experience in an AP role.
- Intermediate computer skills – Microsoft Word and Excel.
- JD Edwards experience preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail.
