The Lennar Technology Group (LTG) Director is responsible for department leadership, managing the organization’s technology application footprint, and ensuring the alignment of LTG strategy with business and organizational goals and ensure the delivery of high-quality and cost-effective solutions. This role involves overseeing the implementation and maintenance of the organization's LTG systems, ensuring data security, and managing a team of IT professionals. The LTG Director also plays a key role in driving digital transformation and innovation within the organization.
This role focuses on HR technology spanning Talent Acquisition, Learning, and Talent/Performance Management. You'll collaborate closely with HR and IT leaders to provide Lennar associates with fit-for-purpose HR technology to excel in their roles. You'll lead your team to deliver AI-powered solutions that create a seamless employee experience, resulting in better hires, improved retention, and increased productivity for the company.
Strategy and Planning:
This is primarily a sedentary office position which requires the incumbent to have the ability to operate computer equipment, speak, hear, bend, stoop, reach, lift, and move and carry up to 25 lbs. Finger dexterity is necessary.

Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and implement LTG strategies that align with the organization's goals and objectives.
- Lead planning processes for the team, including budgeting, capacity planning and resource allocation
- Identify opportunities for technology innovation and digital transformation to improve business processes.
- Team Leadership and Management:
- Manage and mentor a team of LTG professionals, including Managers, Business/Technical Analysts and Project Managers (Provide leadership, guidance, and mentoring to the IT staff, and foster a culture of excellence, teamwork, and customer service.)
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the LTG department.
- Ensure continuous professional development of the LTG team through training and certifications.
- Monitor and evaluate the IT trends, technologies, and best practices, and identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of HR platforms and applications.
- Ensure the availability, performance, and reliability of systems to support business operations.
- Manage vendor relationships and participate in negotiations of contracts for IT services and products.
- Develop and maintain the IT architecture, policies, procedures, and governance frameworks
- Ensure the security, reliability, availability, and performance of the IT systems and applications, as well as compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements
- Plan, budget, and oversee the execution of IT projects, ensuring adherence to best practices, standards, and methodologies
- Lead and manage LTG projects, including system upgrades, software implementations, and network expansions.
- Ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure successful integration and adoption of new technologies.
- Develop and manage the LTG department's budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
- Monitor LTG expenditures and optimize spending on technology investments.
- Develop and manage the LTG department's metrics (budgets, project management. Organizational goals)
- Establish and maintain effective communication and collaboration with the business units, senior management, vendors, and other IT teams.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. A master's degree in IT Management, Business Administration (MBA), or related fields is often preferred.
- Experience: 7 years of experience in IT management, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Skills:
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- In-depth knowledge of Stakeholder management, IT Strategy and Digital Transformation
- Experience with IT security practices and risk management.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences at all levels.
- Ability to align IT strategies with business objectives. Strategic, visionary, and customer-oriented mindset, with the ability to align the IT strategy with the business goals and deliver value-added solutions.
- Familiarity with cloud computing, virtualization, and emerging technologies.
- Extensive knowledge and experience in designing, developing, implementing, and managing complex IT systems and applications, preferably in a large and diverse organization.
- Proven leadership, management, and coaching skills, with the ability to motivate, inspire, and develop a high-performing IT team.
