The Information Technology (IT) Project Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing IT projects from inception to completion. This position requires a combination of technical knowledge, project management expertise, and excellent communication skills. The IT Project Manager should be adept at managing project timelines, budgets, and resources while maintaining a focus on achieving project goals and stakeholder satisfaction. Candidates should have a proven track record of managing IT projects, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Your Responsibilities on the Team
- Plan, execute, and finalize IT projects according to strict deadlines and within budget.
- Define project scope, goals, success criteria, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
- Develop project plans and associated communications documents.
- Effectively communicate project expectations to team members, and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
- Interact with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis.
- Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals.
- Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders.
- Provide senior management with clear and accurate communication of project status and issues.
- Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.
- Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
- Track project milestones and deliverables.
- Develop and deliver status reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
- Determine the frequency and content of status reports from the project team, analyze results, and troubleshoot problem areas.
- Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential risks and issues, and prepare and implement contingency plans.
- Evaluate and manage the implementation third party solutions and ongoing relationships with vendors to ensure company goals and objectives are met.
- Effectively multiple projects simultaneously.
- Work with training and support teams as needed to create training, support, and end-user documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related Information Technology, Computer Sciences or Business discipline is preferred.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification is highly desirable.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in IT project management.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.
- Strong familiarity with project management methodologies, best practices, and software tools such as Jira and TargetProcess.
- General mortgage banking background.

Physical & Office/Site Presence Requirements:
Requires the ability to operate a personal computer, fax machine, copier, climb stairs, bend, stoop, reach, lift, move, and carry materials and supplies weighing 35 pounds or less. Finger dexterity is required to operate a computer keyboard.
