Job Description

Under general supervision, assists engineers/production in testing and inspecting products at various stages of the production process and compiles and evaluates statistical data to determine and maintain quality and reliability of products. 

• Selects products for testing at specified stages in production and tests such parameters as dimensions, performance, mechanical, chemical, or electrical characteristics.
• Use of inspection tools & equipment required to check production components.
• Performs quality control inspections, checks, and tests during the manufacture of products.
• Inspects materials, parts and products at different stages of production.
• Records observations and may make recommendations for improving processes.
• May work in any of the following areas of quality control: incoming/outgoing material, process control, product evaluation, gage calibration, procurement of tools/gages/measurement devices as needed.

Qualifications

• Requires a two year degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Needs to have general knowledge of production measurement tools.
• Strong knowledge of testing methods, problem identification and awareness of potential problems.
• Mastery of basic statistical calculations. Clear written and verbal communication.
• Knowledge of MS Excel and Word/ Teams.

This will be second shift 3pm - 11pm.
