We are a fast-paced, customer-focused notary office in KENNER, seeking a reliable and efficient bilingual (English/Spanish) secretary to cover 2-month maternity leave, with the potential for a permanent role either in Gretna or Kenner offices. The Secretary will serve as the first point of contact for clients and visitors, making phone etiquette and customer support crucial aspects of this position.
Duties
- Answer phones and assist clients in English & Spanish
- Perform clerical tasks (filing, data entry, scheduling)
- Handle basic office correspondence and customer inquiries
- Support notary staff with administrative needs
- Assist in office management tasks, including maintaining filing systems and organizing office supplies
- Utilize Google Suite for document creation, data entry, and communication purposes
- Support the team with various administrative tasks to ensure efficient office operations
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information while managing office correspondence
Skills
- Fluent in English & Spanish (spoken & written)
- Strong customer service and organizational skills
- Experience in an office setting preferred
- Ability to multitask in a busy environment
Schedule:
- Full-time, Monday–Friday
