Position Summary:
The Senior Manager of Information Technology (IT) will lead and manage Lenny’s technology infrastructure and digital strategies to support the business’s objectives and enhance operational efficiency. Act as a liaison between the IT department, restaurant operators, and Support Center teams.
Position Responsibilities:
- Communicate technology updates and initiatives to the President of Lenny’s.
- Work with restaurant operators to ensure IT systems align with operational needs.
- Provide insights and recommendations during the budgeting process for technology projects.
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans and protocols.
- Collaborate with third-party service providers to ensure high service levels.
- Analyze and report on technological trends and their potential impact on Lenny’s operations.
- Oversee the design, implementation, and management of IT systems, including POS, network infrastructure, Restaurant 365 and security systems.
- Strong understanding if digital eco systems
- Troubleshoot system issues and provide 24/7 support for restaurant operations as needed.
- Identify and implement innovative solutions to improve operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with vendors to ensure optimal service and cost-effective solutions.
- Develop training materials and coordinate training sessions for IT systems with restaurant teams.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy and cybersecurity regulations.
- Maintain hardware and software inventory, tracking system lifecycle for timely upgrades or replacements.
- Monitor system performance, identifying and resolving potential issues proactively.
Requirements Include
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- 7 years of experience in IT management experience, preferably in a multi-unit restaurant or retail environment.
- Proven expertise in project management and IT systems implementation.
- Experience/Expert with Toast POS and R365 is a must.
- Experience managing vendor contracts and relationships.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and cloud-based solutions.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of industry-standard IT frameworks (e.g., ITIL, COBIT) and cybersecurity best practices.
- Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
