Bakery Associate

What you'll be doing:

• Greet customers with a warm smile and friendly chat.
• Package our delicious treats like a pro and make our displays look tempting.
• Learn the ropes of baking, whipping up batters and frostings in no time.
• Help out with getting all those yummy goodies prepped and ready to go.
• Cleaning is key! Keeping our workspace organized and sparkling is an important part of the job.
• Ring up customers with a smile and handle cash register duties with ease.
• Be a team player and help open and close the shop when needed.
• You'll be able to work independently and take charge (when those yummy cupcakes aren't calling your name, of course!)
• Party time! You'll help set up and clean up for any special events we have.
• Make sure everyone who visits has a fantastic experience – hospitality is our middle name!
• Work efficiently and get things done without taking forever (because who wants to wait for cookies?)
• Be willing to lend a hand with anything else that pops up – we're a team after all!

The nitty-gritty:

• This is a part-time position (10-15 hours per week) with hours between 9:30 am to closing, Tuesday through Sunday.
• The starting pay is $15 per hour, and we don't take calls for applications, so apply online today!

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a bakery or food service environment
• Strong understanding of hospitality principles and customer service
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting
• Basic knowledge of baking techniques and food safety standards
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
