Math Interventionist -- Anticipated

POSTING DATE: 03/21/2025 APPLICATION REVIEW BEGINS: 4/11/25 POSITION TO BE FILLED BY: 5/2/2025 START DATE: 08/25/2025 INFORMATION: The Lenox Public Schools seeks a dynamic, highly qualified Massachusetts certified teacher for its middle school mathematics program. MA certification required and a Masters degree is preferred. SEI endorsement is required. Desired qualifications include a strong background in mathematics and a commitment to academic excellence for all students. Candidates should be able to demonstrate the ability to differentiate instruction and provide remediation and support in a small group setting. The ideal candidates should have experience utilizing data to inform instruction, working on a team, accessing technology in the classroom and communicating effectively with parents, students and colleagues. Preference will be given to candidates licensed to teach in both middle school and high school. The successful candidate will be assigned three middle school intervention sections and may be assigned 1-2 sections of high school instruction. HOURS PER WEEK: Full-time COMPENSATION: Per LEA Unit A contract Lenox Public Schools provide a generous reimbursement toward the tuition and fees incurred in pursuit of a Master’s degree for educators hired who do not yet hold a Master’s degree.
