POSTING DATE: 03/21/2025APPLICATION REVIEW BEGINS: 4/11/25POSITION TO BE FILLED BY: 5/2/2025START DATE: 08/25/2025 INFORMATION: The Lenox Public Schools seeks a dynamic, highly qualified Massachusetts certified teacher for its middle school mathematics program. MA certification required and a Masters degree is preferred. SEI endorsement is required. Desired qualifications include a strong background in mathematics and a commitment to academic excellence for all students.
Candidates should be able to demonstrate the ability to differentiate instruction and provide remediation and support in a small group setting. The ideal candidates should have experience utilizing data to inform instruction, working on a team, accessing technology in the classroom and communicating effectively with parents, students and colleagues. Preference will be given to candidates licensed to teach in both middle school and high school. The successful candidate will be assigned three middle school intervention sections and may be assigned 1-2 sections of high school instruction.
HOURS PER WEEK: Full-time COMPENSATION: Per LEA Unit A contractLenox Public Schools provide a generous reimbursement toward the tuition and fees incurred in pursuit of a Masters degree for educators hired who do not yet hold a Masters degree.Lenox Public Schools is committed to supporting new educators through a comprehensive induction and mentoring program that fosters professional growth and ensures a smooth transition into our educational community.Interested persons should submit a letter of interest, a current resume, three letters of recommendation, and evidence of MA licensure.
