This role is vital in assisting teachers and related service providers to create an inclusive, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment for all students, including those with special needs and their typically developing peers.Key Responsibilities: Support students in daily routines, including arrival, transitions, play activities, snack time, and dismissal.Facilitate social interactions and learning experiences that promote language, motor, and cognitive development through structured and free-choice activities.Work collaboratively with the special education teacher, occupational therapist, speech-language pathologist, physical therapist, and school adjustment counselor to support students with individual learning plans.Help students develop independence in self-care (e.g., dressing, toileting, handwashing).Assist in setting up and maintaining classroom materials, ensuring a clean and organized learning space.Supervise students during gross motor activities in the gym and outdoor playtime.Foster a positive, inclusive classroom culture that supports all learners.Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with pre-kindergarten students.Previous Experience working with students with Special Needs.
