Job Description
Insight Global is looking for an Automation/Integration specialist for an oil and gas client located in Midland, TX. The Automation Specialist will be responsible for the development, integration, and maintenance of automated control systems used in pipeline operations. This role involves working with electrical and control systems, ensuring the efficient and safe operation of pipeline facilities. This person will be brought in to assist with providing support to the clients capital projects for commissioning and oversight. They will ensure all electrical and controls work is being completed correctly. This person will also assist with contractor management and must have excellent communication skills. Key Responsibilities include: Develop and Integrate Systems: Design, program, and troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, and other control systems, Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Perform regular maintenance and troubleshooting of control systems and related electrical equipment, Project Management: Manage engineering and construction projects, ensuring compliance with company standards and specifications, Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work performed, including equipment manuals, schematics, and as-built drawings, Training and Support: Mentor and train operations personnel on new or modified control systems and equipment, Safety and Compliance: Ensure all work is performed in accordance with safety regulations and company policies.

Skills And Requirements
4 years in automation, electrical, or controls within an industrial or pipeline environment
Previous contractor management experience- they will be responsible for helping manage contractors
Associate degree in a technical field (electrical or electronic) or equivalent experience
Proficiency in PLC programming, HMI development, and understanding of electrical schematics and blueprints
Experience with Allen Bradley software
Industrial network experience
Measurement knowledge (experience working with flow computers) Relevant certifications in electrical or automation fields are preferred
Previous experience at programming or integration firm
BS Degree null
