Primary Responsibilities And Objectives
- Create and manage dashboards, reports, and data models using Power BI
- Develop and execute a BI strategy aligned with organizational goals and operational needs
- Stay ahead of industry trends to ensure BI tools remain cutting-edge and relevant
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security within BI platforms
- Build and manage a small team, providing mentorship, guidance, and training
- Collaborate with internal teams and clients to prioritize and deliver BI projects
- Integrate multiple data sources, including property management systems like Yardi, RealPage, or OneSite, into BI tools
- Identify and resolve data-related challenges to ensure scalability and flexibility of solutions
- Deliver insights into operational performance, revenue trends, and key metrics
- Drive automation in data collection, reporting, and analysis to increase efficiency and reduce manual work
- Train and support internal teams and clients in understanding and utilizing dashboards
- Foster a collaborative environment, encouraging cross-departmental teamwork
- Bridge the gap between technical solutions and business requirements
- Perform other duties as assigned
- High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred
- 7 years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or a related field, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
- Proficiency in Power BI, Tableau, or Looker, including DAX, Power Query, and data modeling
- Strong understanding of SQL, ETL processes, API, and data warehousing concepts
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills
- Strong communication and presentation skills to engage with diverse audiences
- Proven leadership experience with a demonstrated ability to inspire and manage teams
- Microsoft Power BI certification is a plus
- Sensitivity to confidential information and strong attention to detail
- Required to maintain a regular schedule, which may include working outside business hours, weekends, and non-traditional holidays
- Ability to travel (35%)
- Exposure to a typical office environment
