The Senior Data Scientist in Intl Supply Chain will be responsible for leveraging mathematical optimization, simulation, AI/ML modeling to improve supply chain and last mile operations and decision-making processes. What You'll Do
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of OR (LP/MILP/IP) models and methodologies to solve complex supply chain and last mile problems.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities in supply chain and perform data analysis, gather relevant information to develop mathematical models and algorithms and scale and deploy them in production systems
- Apply optimization methods, statistical techniques, and AI/ML models to generate actionable insights.
- Collaborate with Product , engineering and business teams to build and integrate models and into existing systems and ensure their seamless implementation.
- Present research findings and insights to stakeholders, including senior management, in a clear and concise manner and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements, optimize resource allocation, and enhance operational efficiency.
- Strong knowledge of mathematical modeling, optimization techniques, simulation methodologies, and AI/ML models.
- 2 years of experience in building modular, re-usable, and scalable ML models and leveraging best practices in MLOps.
- 2 Experience with SQL, Python, CPLex, and Cloud technologies such as GCP, Azure as well as with Spark, Hive and TensorFlow etc.
- 2 years of experience in building large-scale retail demand forecasting, markdowns,etc. models with deep learning and other ML models.
- Expertise in applying OR techniques to complex business problems, preferably in a corporate or consulting environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and analytically.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
