Job Title: Director of QualityJob Description

We are seeking an experienced Director of Quality to lead our quality assurance team. The candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the quality management systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in QA and be knowledgeable in running LC Mass Spectrometry, HPLC, and GC. This role also involves continuous improvement initiatives within the organization and managing QA and lab technician teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the quality assurance team.
• Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Utilize LC Mass Spectrometry, HPLC, and GC.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the organization.
• Manage QA and lab technician teams.
• Measure projects and processes.
• Understand and enforce hazardous waste procedures.
• Use mapping, flowcharts, and visual aids to analyze processes.
  
  

Essential Skills

• Strong background in quality assurance.
• Experience with LC Mass Spectrometry, HPLC, and GC.
• Knowledge of compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Experience in measuring projects and processes.
• Understanding of hazardous waste procedures.
  
  

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering is required.
• Experience in laboratory management is preferred.
• Knowledge of wet chemistry and analytical chemistry.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $125000.00/yr.
