Responsibilities And Skillsets
- Serves as highly experienced technician capable of:
- resolving complex system failures
- developing preventive maintenance programs
- training less experienced technicians
- identifying systemic failures
- conducting root cause analysis in collaboration with engineering.
- Manages deliberate program of developing junior technicians.
- Provides oversight to ensure support equipment (test measurement and diagnostic equipment etc.) is regularly calibrated and maintained by all field sites,
- Troubleshoots and repairs systems, performs software updates.
- Install, modify, wire, fabricate and maintain systems.
- Distinguish between hardware and software problems in multi-vendor systems.
- Secret security clearance required.
- Bachelors degree (substitute HS diploma for 4 additional years of experience).
- 10 years total experience with the testing of electronic equipment.
- 8 years' experience in the testing and troubleshooting of electronic subsystem installations in military systems.
