Key Responsibilities
- Develop and influence the application architecture
- Propose software designs and provide feedback on designs and implementation
- Triage operational issues and leverage expertise to eliminate repeat occurrences
- Build new features and functions on existing services
- Write consumers and producers to Kafka
- Ensure all code remains highly testable and maintains high test coverage
- Support the product through on-call activities
- Build awareness on operational processes like change management practices, deployment practices, and communications
- 10 years of experience in a similar role
- Proficiency in Java, Kotlin, Spring Boot, Micronaut, Kafka, Postgres, and Mongo
- Experience in highly scalable distributed systems
- Experience working on JVM stacks, specifically on Kotlin, Spring boot
- Familiarity with Elastic (ELK stack), Grafana, Influx, and Rocks DB
